RWRB has been chosen to be on the bill for the very first "RESIST-Dance," sponsored by the Asheville-based Musicians Organizing Activist Committee (MOAC). We're co-sponsored by Indivisible Asheville. This will be the first of a series of events we'll be holding to raise money and awareness of things people can do to RESIST! in this current political climate. We'll be the first warmup band, followed by O-Vad-Ya and the headliner, Sal Landers' Party Rx. We're pretty excited about being on the bill with some of Asheville's best!
Over the past couple of weeks, we've been shooting video during our practices at our HQ, Catywumpus Studio in Asheville. We're really proud of some of the work we've been doing, using mostly Sweat Equity and DIY. Check out the section below. there's also some live video from our recent appearance at the White Horse Tavern.
Recently RWRB was invited to play a featured spot at Melissa McKinney's Badass blues jam at the White Horse Tavern in Black Mountain. We had a great time rocking the house and we even got it on video see below). The Wednesday night jam is a great vibe and some of the top Asheville musicians showed up to play. We really enjoyed getting up there and showing them what we can do!

Watch for another article profiling Alan in the Mountain Express, Asheville's weekly Music and Arts newspaper. coming out 3/18.
Our own Alan Graf got a nice profile in 50+ Living of Western NC magazine. The article, written by local music luminary Peggy Ratusz, is entitled, "Spo tlight on Alan Graf, Activist Musician." It focuses on Alan as a multitalented musician, blogger and activist. It also highlights his "other life" as a Civil Rights lawyer. Alan graciously talks about the band too, which is nice. It's a great read, and you can view the article by clicking here.
RWRB is a team of versatile musicians who play a wide variety of styles. Here are some of our more recent videos. Explore the "Rock," "Blues" and "Acoustic" sections of the site to see and hear the full range of the music our band makes.
Here we are rocking the Blind Joe Reynolds/Cream classic.
Here's a song, written by Alan, about how we see things these days.
A song by Alan about the Great Hurricane of '24 that shows our acoustic side. RWRB plays "electric" and "acoustic" sets in different venues. Sometimes we do both at the same performance!
Here's a "live" video from our appearance at the White Horse Tavern.
